Back from the Islands

After enjoying some days on Terschelling and Vlieland, we had to return to our home port in Makkum. In Vlieland, we installed our wind pilot, renewed the lines on Coelacanth and did some walks on the beach.

On the day of our return, it was cloudy, but there was no rain. The strong tide carried us through the Blauwe Slenk with up to 9 knots. In the Boontjes, the last part before entering the Ijsselmeer at Lorentzsluizen, wie had to use the engine, as wie headed exactly against the wind.
