Crumble Cake in Spiekeroog
1 / 2
After spending two nights on Terschelling, we set off on Sunday. We let the occlusion front of a low-pressure system pass through during the night and set sail early in the morning. In the Stortemelk, we had the wind directly from the front. After a few hours, we turn eastwards. Initially under mainsail and jib, and later under jib alone. After a peaceful night, we arrive at Otzumer Balje as planned early in the morning. We motor into the mudflats between the islands of Spiekeroog and Langeoog and arrive at Spiekeroog harbour just in time for breakfast with some delicious fresh crumble cake from the bakery nearby.
