Storm in Vlieland

After spending some days on Terschelling, we decided to visit Vlieland again. The passage from one island to the other only takes about one hour. Unfortunately, there was hardly wind, when we left Terschelling. Nevertheless, as a heavy southwesterly storm was announced for later that day, we were happy to reach Marina Vlieland early.

There were hardly other ships in Vlieland. Maybe it was still to early in the sailing season for other sailors. As forecasted, the wind reached up to 9 Beaufort in the evening. We enjoyed dinner and a fire in the oven.
