To Terschelling

Finally our holidays came and we went to our home port in Friesland.

Before setting sails and depart for another week of sailing, we had to do some repairs. We missed a part of our furling system. Eventhough reefing was still possible, we wanted to solve this problem first and drove to a small village near Makkum, where we bought the missing part.

After repairing the furling system, there was still time to catch the tide to the islands. We motored to the Lorentzsluizen, where we could pass right away. We sailed through the Boontjes to Harlingen and then through the Blauwe Slenk to Terschelling.
